Things to consider when booking
Medicare Rebates
Our expert dietitians can see patients under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) (formally called an Enhanced Primary care or EPC plan) which has been put through under the guidance of your GP. If patients do wish to proceed with the consultation, they will be eligible for $58.30 off the cost of their consult. Please note that there is a limit of 5 consultations per calendar year for rebate benefits (including any allied health services or mental health services under 10950 to 10970, 93000, 93013, 93501 to 93513 and 93524 to 93538).
Eating Disorder Treatment Plans
If you have been diagnosed with an eating disorder and meet the eligibility criteria or think you might have an eating disorder. Under the guidance of your GP patient maybe be eligible for the Eating Disorder Plan (EDP). This will entitle you to rebates for up to 20 Dietitian consults per calendar year (and 20-40 visits to see a psychologist). Please check with your GP, psychiatrist or pediatrician to see if you qualify.
(Please Note: If not eligible for an EDP, patients may still be eligible for the Medicare rebates under a Chronic Disease Management Plan).
Private Health Funds
Patients that are with a private health fund will be able to claim some if not all of your consultation fee through the fund. Please call your health fund to find out what rebate you are entitled to prior to making the appointment.
Payment
Wholeness health is not a bulk billing service and use the medical software Halaxy (this is encrypted and secure) to process payments.
At the time of booking the consult patients will be asked to enter their debit/credit card details to the site. The payment will be processed automatically during your consultation allowing our health professionals to focus on the more important things such as you and your time.
If patients are eligible to a Medicare rebate this will be processed at the time of payment, and patients will receive the rebate in their nominated bank account in ~3 business days.
Cancellation Policy
Individual consultations are booked in advance due to the lengthy timing of the consults and therefore time is taken to schedule these appointments into our clinicians’ schedules. Therefore, if patients cancel with little notice or do not attend, we cannot offer that appointment to someone else.
Due to this , patients must cancel or reschedule their consultations with more than 48 hours’ notice to avoid incurring a cancellation or no show fee. This can be done by emailing [email protected]
Please Note: That if patient find it difficult to attend in person, we offer telehealth and phone consultations. We do understand that illness does occur, or an unexpected personal emergency arises. If this does occur and you are wanting to keep your appointment or reschedule, please contact Wholeness health as possible by emailing [email protected]
- Wholeness Health is a private billing service and there is a gap between the cost of a consultation and the rebate offered by Medicare.
- All fees are the same for in-person, telehealth and phone consults.

- If less than 48 hours’ notice a 50% cancellation fee will be charged on the patient’s credit card on Halaxy.
- If less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend/ no show a 90% cancellation fee will be charged from the patient’s credit card stored on Halaxy.
